Wheee! Just got back from going to see one of my Clarion teachers, Cory Doctorow, read and sign over at Mysterious Galaxy. That was cool, and he's always fun to see. Met a Clarionite-to-be, and one Clarion hopeful who hasn't heard anything yet. So, yaaay!

I sent the lizard story to Ellora's Cave for the hell of it. I didn't think they would take it, and they didn't, but they did say, ". . . while we found the writing good and story line very well done, we feel that this story is not right for us." So that's something, and about a three week response. Still waiting to hear back from Loose Id on it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Um. That's about all. Cleaned out the spare room, mostly. Just have a pile of boxes to dump in the recycle bin. Would've put more out there, but the yard guys put the fallen leaves and flowers in it, which is a big no-no (says so right on the can in Spanish and English, but oh well) so I had to scoop all those out. Fun.

Yeah. We'll see if any novel writing gets done tonight. Must get something done.
